Dick brings to CMA a long history of success in organizational development and coaching, especially in the non-profit community. His ability to effectively guide an organization through troubled times and set them a course for success is well documented. Dick is a former Maine State Representative and his knowledge of state government policy and regulations, as well as the state governmental process, is a strong asset.
Dick has served as the Executive Director of Woodfords Family Services, a nonprofit organization committed to the support and inclusion of special needs individuals their families in Maine communities. He transformed the agency into one of the leading organizations for children and adults with developmental disabilities. He added a diverse set of programs and oversaw Woodfords’ accreditation from the Council on Accreditation.
Before coming to Maine, Dick served as Director of Developmental Services at COMHAR, Inc. in Philadelphia, Executive Director of Region Ten Client Management, Inc. in New Hampshire and Assistant Professor at Temple University’s School of Social Administration.
Dick has worked as a tireless advocate for some of our state’s most vulnerable citizens. His civic and volunteer activities demonstrate his commitment to improving the lives of others.
