This streamlined meeting process involves individual employee meetings and includes a meeting with your HR staff, following all notifications, to debrief the event.
Meeting with an employee on the day they are notified of a separation allows them to begin the healing process immediately and may head off negative behavior, which could have unfortunate repercussions for themselves, their families, or the company. It is a sign of your organization’s respect for each employee’s professional service and personal dignity.
